My artistic practice is rooted in exploration. My work resists being constrained by societal expectations, as it continues to shift and evolve with me. I create because I am drawn to the process of making and exploring, not to fit into expectations or fixed categories. Each work becomes a reflection of a moment in time, shaped by curiosity, research, and lived experience.

As a young woman, I am constantly in the process of learning who I am, who I have been, and who I am still becoming. My work reflects this ongoing development, often shifting in form, medium, and meaning. I do not believe that art is meant to be contained within a single identity; instead, it is meant to expand and shift our understanding of the evolving world around us. I move between materials and approaches as a way of understanding myself and my environment.

My practice includes oil on panel, acrylic on canvas, sculpture, video, mixed media installation, drawing, realism, expressionism, and performance-based work, including themes of mental health and emotional awareness. I am equally drawn to both bold colour and black and white themes from charcoal and graphite, depending on what the work demands.

Most of my works are titled “Untitled,” as part of my process is resisting fixed interpretations and allowing viewers to connect with the work in their own way to create personal meaning rather than being guided toward a single narrative.

Ultimately, my work is an ongoing exploration of transformation through personal, emotional, and artistic ways of being. For me, embracing uncertainty is an essential part of creation.
